Allahu Akbar

Ya Allah, please remove all haram feelings from my heart and mind.

Sin

When you fall into sin, think about it. Allah SWT see you, angels are recording your action.

Does he not know that Allah sees ˹all˺? [Quran 96 : 14]

Your Lord is always watchful. [Quran 89 : 14]

...God sees everything you do. [Quran 49 :18]

Every man is attended by two recording angels, called the “Kiram–ul–Katibeen,” or the illustrious writers, one of whom records his good actions and the other his evil actions.

Once Muhammad Ali said, "I don't smoke but I keep a match box in my pocket. When my heart slips towards sin, I burn the matchstick and heat my palm with it, then say to myself, "Ali, you can't even bear this heat, how would you bear the unbearable heat of hellfire?"

Avoid sin

Death is not the biggest disaster in life. The biggest disaster is; when our fear of Allah dies when we are still alive.

Gunah se bachne ke sirf do hi raste hain. Ek Allah Ki mohabbat ka shauq ho aur dosra Allah ke samne peshi matlab qayamat ke din ka khauf ho.

Allah SWT says in the Quran : And as for those who were in awe of standing before their Lord and restrained themselves from ˹evil˺ desires, Paradise will certainly be ˹their˺ home. [Quran 79 : 40 - 41]

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “When the believer commits sin, a black spot appears on his heart. If he repents and gives up that sin and seeks forgiveness, his heart will be polished. But if (the sin) increases, (the black spot) increases. That is the Ran that Allah mentions in His Book: “Nay! But on their hearts is the Ran (covering of sins and evil deeds) which they used to earn.” [83:14] [Sunan Ibn Majah 4244]

When the believer commits sin, then sin creates a black spot over the heart, which can separate you from Allah. However, by asking for forgiveness, you can undo this separation. A person must always keep his heart in check, and when a black spot appears over it, then he is unable to perform much ibadah or understand a religious matter. He should do istighfar and ask Allah SWT to cleanse his heart.

O Allah, make us among those who always turn to you in repentance and make us among those who are purified. (Ameen ya Rabbul Alameen)

Be careful about your Imaan

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "When an adulterer commits illegal sexual intercourse, then he is not a believer at the time he is doing it; and when somebody drinks an alcoholic drink, then he is not believer at the time of drinking, and when a thief steals, he is not a believer at the time when he is stealing; and when a robber robs and the people look at him, then he is not a believer at the time of doing it." Abu Huraira in another narration, narrated the same from the Prophet (ﷺ) with the exclusion of robbery. [Sahih al-Bukhari 6772]

O Allah, mujhe har gunah jaise, shirk, zina, sharaab, chori, zulm o sitam, gayebat etc. jaise har gunah se bachakar khalis tere khatir teri khushnadi ke liye zindagi guzarne ki taufeeq aata farma.

There are three (persons) whose actions are not recorded.

Narrated 'Ali: That the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "The pen has been lifted from three; for the sleeping person until he awakens, for the boy until he becomes a young man and for the mentally insane until he regains sanity." [Jami` at-Tirmidhi 1423]

Narrated Aisha, Ummul Mu'minin: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: There are three (persons) whose actions are not recorded: a sleeper till he awakes, an idiot till he is restored to reason, and a boy till he reaches puberty. [Sunan Abi Dawud 4398]

Narrated Ali ibn AbuTalib: Ibn Abbas said: A lunatic woman who had committed adultery was brought to Umar. He consulted the people and ordered that she should be stoned. Ali ibn AbuTalib passed by and said: What is the matter with this (woman)? They said: This is a lunatic woman belonging to a certain family. She has committed adultery. Umar has given orders that she should be stoned. He said: Take her back. He then came to him and said: Commander of the Faithful, do you not know that there are three people whose actions are not recorded: a lunatic till he is restored to reason, a sleeper till he awakes, and a boy till he reaches puberty? He said: Yes. He then asked: Why is it that this woman is being stoned? He said: There is nothing. He then said: Let her go. He (Umar) let her go and began to utter: Allah is most great. [Sunan Abi Dawud 4399]
